Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, Tinashe to Headline Souled Out Festival 2024

R&B festival Souled Out has announced its 2024 lineup. The festival will set up in multiple locations around Australia in March 2024, beginning at Parramatta Park in Sydney, with follow-up events at Melbourne’s Caribbean Park and Gold Coast’s Doug Jennings Park. More cities are to be announced.

The lineup is led by Atlanta’s Summer Walker, who recently appeared on the single ‘Good Good’ by Usher and counts SZA, Ari Lennox and Sam Smith as past collaborators. Kentucky trap singer and rapper Bryson Tiller is also on the bill, alongside Canadian artist and producer PartyNextDoor, St Louis via Chicago hip hop and neo-soul artist Smino, and more.

Souled Out 2024 will also welcome New Orleans R&B artist Lucky Daye, Canadian R&B duo Majid Jordan, and pop experimentalist Tinashe. The likes of Libianca, Umi, Thuy, Lara Andallo and Will Singe round out the lineup, as well as DJs Joe Kay, Sasha Marie, Andre Power and Mistah Gee.

Souled Out launched with a one-day event at Brisbane’s Eatons Hill Outdoor in January 2023. The inaugural lineup featured Kehlani, Destin Conrad, Chanel Loren and more. The 2024 festival is presented by the music discovery platform Whatslively, whose app is hosting a Souled Out pre-sale.

In a statement, Souled Out co-founder Emal Naim spoke confidently about the 2024 event. “R&B as a genre now is as strong as ever,” said Naim, “and it’s about time Australia gets a live experience dedicated to it, this has been a long time coming.”
