Liam Gallagher Is Coming To Australia For Falls Festival 2017/2018

UPDATE: The full 2017/2018 Falls Festival lineup has now been announced.

ORIGINAL STORY: Former Oasis member and current Gallagher brother Liam Gallagher has revealed that he’s coming to Australia later this year, and will tour the country as part of Falls Festival 2017/2018.

In a new interview with GQ, Gallagher says he’ll be bringing his solo music (and hopefully some Oasis hits) down under later this year.

“Every time I’ve been out there, it’s been cool. And we’re coming out there, doing the Falls Festival,” he says.

“So, we’re gonna be there for New Year’s Eve. So I can’t wait, man — love it. It’s beautiful. I’m bringing me two boys out as well, they’re at the age now where they can come and travel.”

Gallagher says his kids are “mad” for the Aussie cartoon The Big Lez Show. “It’s like
a fucking Australian Cheech And Chong,” he says. “They love a bit of that Australian vibe.”

Gallagher is set to release his debut solo album As You Were on Friday, 6th October. Meanwhile, the rest of this year’s Falls Festival lineup is set to be announced tomorrow, Tuesday, 22nd August.
