Kanye West Banned From Australia Indefinitely Over Nazi-Praising Track ‘Heil Hitler’

Australia has officially said “nah mate” to Kanye West.

The controversial rapper has been denied entry to the country indefinitely, after the federal government cancelled his visa in response to his latest stunt — releasing a song literally called ‘Heil Hitler’.

“We don’t need that in Australia” – Tony Burke

Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke confirmed the decision this week on ABC News, revealing that Aussie immigration officials pulled Ye’s visa after reviewing the track, which samples an actual Adolf Hitler speech. It also dropped on May 8 — the anniversary of Nazi Germany’s defeat in WWII.

The music video? Also banned in Germany.

“He’s been coming to Australia for a long time, he’s got family here,” Burke told the ABC, referencing Ye’s Aussie wife Bianca Censori. “But we have enough problems in this country already without deliberately importing bigotry.”

While Kanye didn’t have a visa lined up for the purposes of touring, Burke confirmed his team still took a hard look at the law — and ruled that promoting Nazism crossed a serious line.

“You’re going to have a song and promote that sort of Nazism? We don’t need that in Australia.”

The decision sends a clear message: freedom of speech isn’t a free pass when it comes to spreading hate — especially for non-citizens.

“What’s not sustainable is to import hatred,” Burke added.

Kanye’s visa status remains cancelled for now, with officials saying any future application to enter the country will be reviewed.
