Hilltop Hoods, Tash Sultana, Tones And I Lead Vanfest 2022 Lineup

The organisers of regional festival Vanfest have announced its return for 2022, with a new location and a lineup that includes the likes of Hilltop Hoods, Tash Sultana, Tones and I and more. After taking place in Forbes, New South Wales for eight years, this year’s edition of the festival – which will take place over Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd December – will take place at Mount Panorama in Bathurst.

According to a press release, the new location is due to the festival expanding in size and challenges with COVID-19, among other things.

In a statement, promoter Matt Clifton said it had “been a long road” but that organisers “couldn’t be more excited” for Vanfest to make its return. “There are enormous amounts of challenges facing the industry, however, we remain dedicated to supporting the live music sector and delivering memorable experiences to our fans.”

Bathurst Mayor Robert Taylor, meanwhile, said he was looking forward to demonstrating that Mount Panorama – which hosts the Bathurst 1000 – was “so much more than a premiere racing circuit.” He continued: “I look forward to welcoming the patrons of Vanfest to our beautiful city and with so much to see and do, I encourage visitors to stay a little longer and explore everything that Bathurst and the surrounding region has to offer.”

Tickets for Vanfest 2022 will go on sale at 10am this Thursday, 7th July via the festival’s website.
