Hip hop artist Cordae will release his second official album, From a Birds Eye View, this Friday, 14th January. It follows Cordae’s debut album, The Lost Boy, from 2019, and is coming out via Atlantic Records.
The 24-year-old rapper shared the track listing and album details on social media. The 14-song release includes guest appearances from Cordae’s contemporaries Roddy Ricch, Gunna, Lil Durk and H.E.R. as well as his elders Lil Wayne, Freddie Gibbs, Nas, Eminem and Stevie Wonder.
Cordae has a reputation for roping in high profile collaborators. The Lost Boy included guest spots from Chance the Rapper, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Pusha T, Arin Ray and Meek Mill. He’s also jumped on tracks with the likes of Logic, Young Thug and Common.
From a Birds Eye View isn’t Cordae’s first time working with Stevie Wonder, Nas or Eminem: Cordae appeared on Wonder’s 2020 single, ‘Can’t Put It in the Hands of Fate’; Nas’ 2021 single ‘Life Is Like A Dice Game’; and the remix of Eminem’s ‘Killer’ alongside Jack Harlow.
Eminem’s feature on From a Birds Eye View is a remix of Cordae’s 2020 single, ‘The Parables’. The Lil Wayne-featuring ‘Sinister’ came out in December. Check out the official video below.
Cordae is also known for his relationship with tennis superstar Naomi Osaka.
