Brisbane Festival has unveiled its full program for 2025, with an extensive music program as a featured element. Dubbed The Music City, the program invites several notable Australian artists to perform in the city in a variety of unique formats. The full music program can be found below.
The 2025 program includes the likes of John Butler, performing at the city’s Princess Theatre, as well as Sarah Blasko at the Tivoli as part of her Double Feature Australian tour and Brisbane’s own Hannah Macklin at the Powerhouse. The Tivoli will also host its ‘In The Round’ concert series, with bands performing at the beloved venue from the middle of the room rather than on the stage. Artists set to perform in this manner include Mallrat, Odd Mob and Julia Jacklin‘s Phantastic Ferniture.

“Brisbane Festival is more than an arts event,” said Adrian Schrinner – the Lord Mayor of Brisbane – a statement announcing the program. “It’s a celebration of our identity as Australia’s lifestyle capital. It shines a spotlight on our creativity, diversity, and world-class local talent, bringing them to centre stage for all to enjoy. This year’s program will transform every corner of our city with unforgettable experiences — from large-scale international collaborations to vibrant, community-driven works. I encourage everyone to get involved, explore the city in new ways and be part of this extraordinary celebration that puts Brisbane’s culture, colour and community front and centre.”
