Billie Eilish Interrupts Show To Find Crowd Member An Asthma Puffer

Billie Eilish pressed pause on her show at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena over the weekend when she recognised an audience member was struggling.

“Do we have an inhaler?” Eilish asked after walking down the stage runway to investigate the situation. “Can we just grab one?” she said, presumably addressing security or a member of her road crew.

“We got one, it’s OK, we got one,” she said, before requesting calm. “Guys, give [them] some time. Don’t crowd. Relax, relax, it’s OK. Nothing’s happened. We’re good, it’s OK. We’re taking care of our people.”

She then added, with a hint of subtext, “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going.”

According to Consequence of Sound, Eilish participated in a quick breathing exercise with the crowd before the show resumed.

Eilish will bring her Happier Than Ever tour to Australia in September 2022. She’s playing multiple shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Eilish and her brother Finneas recently performed ‘Happier Than Ever’ and ‘Male Fantasy’ on SNL. Eilish will be a guest on season 52 of Sesame Street, the teaser for which can be watched now.

‘Happier Than Ever’ came in at #5 in triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2021. Another of the album’s singles, ‘Your Power’, was number 80. Watch footage of Eilish’s puffer hunt below.
