A Final Release Of Taylor Swift ‘Eras’ Australian Tour Tickets Are Going On Sale This Afternoon

Taylor Swift is set to arrive in Australia in a matter of days for her hotly-anticipated Eras Tour stadium shows in Sydney and Melbourne – and today (February 13), fans will have one last chance to secure tickets to these long-since sold-out performances. The tour’s promoter, Frontier Touring, have shared that a third and final release of tickets will go on sale this afternoon: 2pm AEDT for the Melbourne Cricket Ground shows, and 4pm AEDT for the Sydney Accor Stadium shows. Tickets will be available for purchase from Frontier’s Eras Tour website here.

“With the show setup now underway it has been confirmed that limited tickets, including restricted view tickets at $65.90, can be released for sale,” the statement from Frontier read. “Melbourne’s iconic MCG will notably host the largest concert of Taylor Swift’s career to date, and her three concerts there will see her break the MCG’s record for the most tickets sold by one artist at the venue. Taylor will also be the first artist ever to perform four concerts at Accor Stadium.”

Swift first announced that The Eras Tour was coming to Australia back in June 2023. Originally scheduled for two MCG and three Accor shows, demand for tickets meant extra dates were added at both venues to accommodate. Even then, fans expressed disappointment and even outrage over not being able to secure one of the hundreds of thousands of tickets available for purchase. A second release of tickets followed in November 2023, which again immediately sold out.

Australian fans have also been able to experience Swift’s career-spanning live show with The Eras Tour Concert Film, which hit cinemas in October and was projected to gross over $10 million at the Australian box office upon release.

Ahead of her first Australian visit since 2018, Swift announced a new studio album entitled The Tortured Poets Department while accepting the 2024 Grammy for Album Of The Year for Midnights. It marked her fourth win of the award, becoming the only artist in history to do so. The Tortured Poets Department is set for release on Friday April 19th.
