Old Mervs have got their long-awaited debut album coming out this March and they’ve just announced plans to take it on the road. The indie-rock favourites’ self-titled first LP is due to reach our ears on Friday, 21st March, which will be followed by a mammoth 17-date headline tour across the nation.
The duo of Dave and Henry will visit fans from beachside towns to capital cities and everywhere in between, kicking off their Australian tour in Adelaide, before heading to Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Mackay, Airlie Beach, Cairns, Barwon Heads, Melbourne, Frankston and Castlemaine.

The band will then close out the tour with a massive home-state show at Perth HPC, with a lineup of special guests handpicked by the band themselves (to be announced very soon).
The tour announcement also comes spiced with the release of a fresh cut of their forthcoming debut LP dubbed ‘Everyone Will See It’, which was incidentally the first track that the band recorded with ARIA award-winning producer, Chris Collins.
“We had some spare time at the end of the week’s recording and decided to see what we could come up with,” Old Mervs’ singer Dave House explains. “It feels fresh for us I think, and it definitely has a different groove which is always a nice change up. We wanted a big chorus for a big singalong so hopefully that’s what we get!”
