Noah Kahan Announces 2024 Australian Tour

Noah Kahan, known for his solo hits as well as collaborations with Post Malone and Kacey Musgraves, has announced a massive tour of Australia to take place in 2024. The US pop artist will visit arenas and outdoor stages in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth in January.

Although just 26 years old, Kahan is a seasoned touring artist. Raised on the US east coast, Kahan has toured extensively since releasing his first record, Busyhead, in 2015. In the last six months, he’s performed at hallowed venues such as the Radio City Music Hall in New York City and O2 Arena in London.

Noah Kahan – ‘Stick Season’

Kahan’s latest record, Stick Season, came out in 2022. That album represented something of a deviation from the songwriter’s previous modus operandi – though he had made his name with a broad, big indie pop sound, Stick Season went smaller and sadder, in part thanks to inspiration from the contemporary master of “break yer heart” folk music, Phoebe Bridgers.

Stick Season was a streaming success, introducing Kahan to a brand new audience. Following its release, Kahan released the single ‘Dial Drunk’ featuring Post Malone, who wrote his own verse on the track. That collaboration was a long time coming — Kahan had been covering Malone’s megahit ‘Congratulations’ as far back as 2017.

Fans should expect a mix of songs new and old on Kahan’s forthcoming Australian tour. Also, given that Kahan has made a habit of bringing a bunch of his musical contemporaries up onstage with him – everyone from Hozier to The Milk Carton Kids – perhaps a special guest might appear?
